Having recently visited Lagunavista Villas in Costa Rica, I must say that the hotel offers a unique blend of luxury and value for nature enthusiasts. The staff, led by Matt, was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The pool area was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring the stunning views of the lagoon and beach, complete with Scarlet Macaws in the trees above the villas.The location is secluded, offering a serene environment to enjoy the beauty and wildlife, from caimans to birds and occasional monkeys. While the rough road to reach the hotel may deter some, it also means no crowds or noise—perfect for a restful retreat. The meals were delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs.Lagunavista Villas has great potential to become a top boutique resort with some investment. For travelers looking for a close-to-nature experience, this place is a hidden gem.
